To ensure the safety of electricity use during the summer heat period in 2025, the Safety Department organized and carried out a inspection of distribution facilities and high-energy-consuming appliances from July 7th for a period of two months (with weekly reports). The inspection focused on the operation status of rooms, important equipment cables, and high-power appliances, aiming to identify potential risks and ensure the stable operation of the power grid. During the inspection, the Safety Department, conjunction with the Electrical Department's electricians, conducted comprehensive temperature detection on key parts such as high-voltage facilities, distribution cabinets in various workshops, cable joints, and ventilation and dissipation systems. They also developed corrective action plans to address issues such as aging lines and excessive power consumption. At the same time, it was required that all departments strictly control use time of high-energy-consuming equipment to avoid faults caused by overheating. To further enhance the safety of electricity use among employees, especially professional electricians on the front, on July 9th, the Safety Department specially invited technical experts from the Tianchang Power Supply Bureau to conduct a summer electricity safety training. Electricians, repars, and relevant responsible persons from various departments participated in this meeting. The training content covered maintenance of distribution equipment, cable load management, emergency response measures, peak and off-peak and electricity prices, and combined actual cases to analyze prevention methods for common safety hazards. The participants had in-depth exchanges with the experts from the power supply bureau on technical issues their daily work.
