Popularizing First Aid Knowledge to Safeguard Life Safety

Company Organizes Red Cross Emergency Rescue Training

To further enhance employees' safety awareness and improve their ability to handle emergencies, on the morning of May 24th, the company invited senior lecturer Jiang Xuesong from the Red Cross Society of Tianchang City to conduct a special training on emergency rescue. A total of over 30 employees, including managers at the team leader level and above and staff from the affiliated Instrument Company, participated in the training.
During the training, Mr. Jiang adopted a combination of theoretical explanations and practical demonstrations to systematically introduce first aid skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the Heimlich maneuver. Through the analysis of real cases, he emphasized the crucial role of the "golden four minutes" in rescuing those who have suffered cardiac arrest and demonstrated the key points of chest compressions and artificial respiration using a human model. The participants practiced in groups, and Mr. Jiang corrected their movements one by one to ensure the accuracy and standardization of the first aid techniques. In the interactive session, the trainees also learned about the handling of common injuries such as trauma and heatstroke.

"Who would have thought that there is so much to first aid knowledge? The correct compression posture and force directly affect the rescue outcome," the trainees remarked. This training was highly practical, not only equipping them with basic first aid skills but also instilling a sense of mission to safeguard life safety.

Conducting first aid training is not only an important measure to fulfill the company's responsibility for production safety but also lays the foundation for building an emergency response system where "everyone knows first aid and everyone dares to rescue." In the next step, the company will improve the first aid kits in each workshop and organize specialized drills to effectively transform the learning outcomes into a strong shield for protecting employees' life safety.
